Mike Saxton Owner and Founder, Mike Saxton has 15 years of tour operator experience and has led and designed tours all over the world. His love of beer and travel, and the realization that the history of beer is inextricably linked to the history of Europe, led to the creation of BeerTrips.com in 1998. In the seven years of BeerTrips, Mike feels more strongly than ever that beer is truly a gift of nature and brewing it is as much art and place as science. Raised in Chicago, Mike now lives with his wife and daughter in Missoula, Montana - a fine beer city itself.

Michelle Burton General Manager, Michelle Burton, splits her time between consulting work at BeerTrips.com, work as a contract attorney, and raising her daughter Ella. As a former prosecutor, Michelle keeps order around BeerTrips HQ. Her love of medieval and modern Europe and enthusiasm for BeerTrips, offer added cultural value to our trips, as she has a nose for finding the out of the way musuem, cafe, or shop.

Mike, Michelle, and Ella A family operation... Mike and Michelle (and Ella), and countless local guides, brewmasters and trip leaders, work hard to ensure that BeerTrips are educational, fun, Beer Adventures.
